Assembly plant blast death toll iPad owned Foxconn in China increases. An injured worker who eventually died after being treated, so the number of workers killed in three people so far.

As Viewwit quoted by AFP on Monday (5/23/2011), the third death has been confirmed by the Foxconn. Previously, the number ofcasualties as much as two people and wounded 16 others .

"Foxconn can confirm that the three workers had died in the explosion on 20 May,"the statement Foxconn.

The explosion occurred at the plant located in Chengdu, Sichuan Province. Local media reports, this plant is the second location in addition to making the iPad the main factory located in Shenzhen region.

The cause of the explosion is still under investigation. The authorities ensure that no element of premeditation or sabotage in the incident. Allegedly, the explosion occurred due to flammable materials at the plant.

The production process is suspended until the investigation is completed. The explosion is predicted to make production iPad 2 disrupted. But some reports claim production devices will soon be back to normal.
