Japanese robot ball can fly

Japanese robot ball can fly. Scientists at Japan's Ministry of Defense developed a robot called as first ball-shaped machine in the world that can fly. This robot can spin in the air like a helicopter and flew in all directions.

Japanese robot ball can fly.In a video uploaded to YouTube, the robot ball seemed to fly around the room full of attendees. The robot is controlled by a remote control that is played by one of the scientists who developed it.

Several times, the robot accidentally bang it into walls or other objects that obstruct it. But it remained floating robot stable thanks to the 'onboard gyroscope' that are embedded in it.

Viewwit quoted from the LA Times, Thursday (10/27/2011), the machine is fairly light weight. Interestingly, once observed, the robot's body is apparently composed of scrap metal shelf components.

In the future, robots valued at USD 1 400 (about USD 12.6 million) will be developed as a robotic rescue. "Because of its ability to fly and land anywhere denan easy, this machine is expected to reach places that are difficult to reach other transportation," said one of the team's robot developers
