Google gets a challenge. His equipment commonly used to roam the streets paved in the modern settlement, try to be tested in areas that are rarely touched, namely the interior of the Amazon.

Equipment referred to is the equipment used to service the Google Street View. Google teams bring their equipment to navigate the Amazon and Rio Negro rivers in Brazil.

The arrival of the Google team to inland areas is an invitation from the Amazonas Sustainable Foundation (FAS) an organization that helps citizens of Brazil in the Amazon to develop a forest protection project. Later the Google team will ride a tricycle trademark that has been equipped with a camera and traveled to remote villages.

Attempt to perpetuate a situation in areas rarely visited it was not stopped in the hands of Google alone. After the death of them from that place, FAS and setempatlah citizens who will continue their duties. To that end, Google will equip them with some equipment such as cameras and laptops.

"By teaching the locals to operate those tools, they can continue the information about the cultures and lifestyles in communities throughout the world," wrote Google in their official blog, as quoted by online news viewwit from Mongabay, Monday (22 / 8 / 2011).

Not only that, Google will also take photos of the Amazon rain forest from space. With these photos taken, then the public can see and monitor the largest rain forest on earth via Google Earth.
